4 months ago, my wife, son and I made the 2 hour trek from Santa Barbara to Hollywood Piano in Pasadena. We were looking for a high quality playing piano- no so much an investment - but one that was well made and not outrageously expensive. We had the space for a 9' grand, but there were so many choices. I had grown up playing Baldwin and Knabe, new I didn't like the Yamaha types I had played in college, and we owned a 50 year old Steinway upright. Great selection of professional pianos and I love the atmosphere.
My wife and I got a new Piano. Gus is the most honest and helpful piano seller I have ever seen. His recommendations and advice are absolutely true. The piano technician, Dennis also is another person I really enjoyed talking to him. Dennis is very professional. He tuned our new Piano and fixed a minor issue very quickly and professionally.
