Just called this place to inquire about cataract surgery. Secretary informed me that additional out-of-pocket expenses would be incurred even though my insurance fully covers cataract surgery. When I asked what those expenses might be, she said it’s their policy not to discuss any additional out-of-pocket payments by the patient. Review of Hollywood Eye Institute I have been a patient at the Hollywood Eye Institute since 2017, under the care of Dr. Shareen Greenbaum, who performed eye surgery in 2017. I was extremely satisfied with the outcome—Dr. Greenbaum did a wonderful job, and I’ve held her in the highest regard ever since. I have had really bad experiences with Opthamalogist and optometry. They have literally yeld at me and never listened to my concerns. Being a practitioner myself, I found it heartbreaking. This place is unlike any other eye care facility. This facility takes a full medical approach. They look for solutions to heal you instead of placing a bandaid… I am excited for my healing journey with improved symptoms and eye sight.
This was a great experience at Hollywood Eye Institute. Joseph was great. He took his time to explain every test. Answered my questions fully. I would highly recommend to family and friends.
