Much better then flying through LAX. Shorter lines to check in and at security, Free WiFii and some good food options.

The only LA area airport with a rail link. Metrolink/Amtrak station about 5 mins walk.
Fly in the morning and in the middle of the week--much less crowded plane.
The Lunch Box serves sushi rolls that aren't too horrible for an airport, and they will make them with soy paper.

You can get off the plane from the front or the back, so sitting towards the back will definitely get you off the plane faster.
