Stayed one night after a cruise. The pros: low rates for a beach hotel; beach chairs and towels provided free of charge; friendly staff; pool; very close to a public beach. The cons: very worn and outdated rooms; close to a main road and very loud; rooms not sound proof; key locks and chain locks didn’t feel secure; check out early and forget to drop off the key you’re charged $20; you can drop off luggage before checking in, but there’s no receipt to show what you left so it didn’t feel secure. Our room had cockroaches. We killed two large ones. Aside from that, the rooms are pretty worn and basic. The location is sketchy, but most of the boulevard area fits that description. The staff did say they were sorry about the cockroaches. We left and stayed elsewhere.
Beautiful, well equipped suites. Friendly helpful staff. Location, location, location! 2 blocks from the broadwalk and beach.
