The doctor tells my husband, who is deaf in one ear that he has to wear his hearing aid, all day and play the tv all night so he doesn’t loose hearing in the other ear, well the battery in his hearing aid( one hearing aid because the other ear is completely deaf) won’t charge 2nd time, and both times it takes 5-6 weeks to get an appointment, so now I’m guessing Atlanticare doesn’t care if he looses his hearing in the one ear that he has, and his hearing in that ear isn’t very good! I called to make an appointment. They asked if I had a script. I said no and wouldn't the doc have given me one if I needed it? Then they called back and said I didn't need a script and we made an appointment. Then I got a text that said my appointment was cancelled because I didn't have a script. So I sent over a script. New appointment made. When I arrived, they checked me in, and then said my appointment was cancelled because I was considered a no show. I was told my appointment was 9:45.
