Not grandchildren friendly-residents will take photos of minors just playing in grandparents driveway-Other then that beautiful place and was a wonderful staff until recently when new management took over. Want my mom to move in with me and my husband - then she can visit the handful of amazing friends and neighbors she has met here this past year♥️
RecommendedI love that the staff makes themselves so available to us, like at the monthly pancake breakfasts. The amenities are terrific, and I especially love the pool. Most of the neighbors are kind and friendly. Sure, you won't like absolutely everyone, but that is true of anywhere. Some people complain that the land is not available for purchase. I like that the land is rented due to Florida's notoriously frightening history of damaging weather. I am so glad we found Holly Forest Estates.
GREEDY big company, Sun Communities, owns the property. Owners are not given an opportunity to purchase the land. How many times over do you need to pay for the piece of land? Management company does NOT do enough for the amount of Lot Rent charged. Cutting grass and any problems on the land itself should be taken care by the management company, not the home owners, since the land is rented!! Do some comparisons people!!

They pick an chose who they enforce the rules and regulations with. Big business company that has no heart. I lived here 10 years and have seen it and now experiencing it myself. The park and residents are wonderful but the management is the worst. If the manager doesn't like you they try to evict you and take your home away. Beware if you have an unexpected life change they will make your life a living HELL and have no mercy.
The aftermath of Hurricane Mathew was devastating...some hit much harder than others but the leadership of our new manager Jeff was unbelievable..*He coordinated clean up in such a positive manner that we immediately began to feel whole again our community looked like a war zone and in less than a week somehow the mess was so much better this is a community filled with pride..It's going to take time and money for each of us to bring our homes back to where they were...Not all are in a position to afford insurance ...but it w... read more
