The state should shut the doors these type conditions in this facility give the rest of the homes a bad rap! The Owner sucks all the money out and the residents do with out!
I have a friend who put their father there. About 6 months ago, and the caregivers are very nice and sweet , but the place is very run down and outdated . It is very sad to visit my friends father . It is becoming a full blown memory care facility without the the proper care for these folks. There are no locked sections or etc. It’s very depressing and in serious need of upgrading . People should not have to pay to live that like, and don’t get me started on the food or the dining room.
I have been twice to visit a neighbor, and the place should be revamped. The carpet is so old and nasty and the furniture is a mish mash of thrift store finds. It looks like a place you dump your relatives and never go visit . It is in dire need of updating and and bringing the standard of living up a couple of notches. If I had to live there, I would stay depressed . The dining room has these plastic tablecloths on the tables and the chairs have fabric stained cushions and not anything to write home about . This could be the most awesome facility in the area..so sad to me that the administration cant see this..my mom has lived here 10 years...as an independent..funny how when she finally needs help it is hard to find...this home was and is her family...but if you cant take care of them when they are sick..what kind of family are you? ..poor quality of compassion and empathy is all I have to say. They have some great caregivers but administration rules the roost...shame on them.
my mother on law is in this facility,,,,if you are going to put your loved in here..be prepared to check on them daily..there are some great caregivers there ..but the new administration is horrible...all they care about is money. Check on your loved ones daily..they do not.
