Joy is the BEST! I love coming here! Joy listens and treats you with respect, unrushed time, and attentive individual care. Lately, we’ve been doing ozone treatments on my dental implant and it has tremendously helped my gums. I love how gentle the treatments and cleanings feel. I highly highly recommend Holistic Smiles!
If you have a little one who is either neurodivergent or afraid of the dentist, then this is the place for you! My son has a neurological disorder and Dr. Joy has so many cool tools and resources to explain things and get little ones involved in the process. He has a wonderful time at his visit (ESPECIALLY since her dog Charlie was present to help calm him), and we can’t wait to visit again!
I had my first patient appointment and it was such a wonderful experience (I never thought I'd say that about a dentist!). I've been seeing Joy as my dental hygienist for 7 years! I found her because she is more holistically inclined and I need someone who pays attention to the products that are used to clean my mouth (because of my health history I'm particular about this). She's thorough on cleanings and gives recommendations on areas to pay attention to when you're cleaning your own teeth and the best tools (like brushes, waterpiks) and quality holistic products (toothpaste and floss). The most gentle and thoughtful dental experience of my life. Joy is so sweet and attentive and goes the extra mile to make those who don’t enjoy going to the dentist have a very pleasant experience. I can honestly say I am going to look forward to cleanings from here on out.
