Full of Regret BEWARE. I would never allow Dr. Buchoff to do surgery on your pet. My dog underwent major surgery to remove a tumor. He was sent home the same day, with no medication. He was in AGONY for 24 hours and then died. He was sick, but to spend the last day of his life in such pain was awful. Dr. Buchoff gave him lavendar and a mild pain reliever called Rymodol, and he had NOTHING else to help sediate or relieve his pain. I have such regret allowing him to 'care' for my dog. Wonderful staff and doctor! Dr B and staff take the time to care for all three of our dogs. Everything is always explained ahead of time. Today they treated my Gracie Lou and really put my mind at ease. If you want the best, go to the best! They treat us and our fur babies like family!
My 11-year-old keeshond, Teddy had a very large cancerous tumor on his abdomen. Traditional veterinary medicine was to have expensive surgery and radiation which gave Teddy little chance to survive and was not really recommended. The tumor was getting in the way of his mobility. He leaned when he walked and he could barely manage stairs. I would eventually have to put him to sleep.
