At our last visit this month, Erika examined me, listened to me, and correctly diagnosed that I did not have a major thyroid problem as determined by a PCP. Her diagnosis was confirmed by an endocrinologist. Western/ conventional medical doctors generally seem to only look at papers, tests, and numbers, NOT the person. Dr. Gabriello is the third acupuncturist that I have visited in the past few years and the only reason that I will keep with acupuncture as part of my regular health maintenance. She is attentive, well versed in many aspects of overall health management, and a very kind healer. Like me, she works in both NYC and the Hudson Valley so I am able to see her regularly.
