Holistic medicine is an approach to healing that encompasses the whole person, not just symptoms. Dr. Wintrob performed a very thorough exam surrounded by views of the forest and delivered a deeper meaning behind my vision "problems" as well as a game plan for how I can heal my vision on my own! Seeing that there is more than meets the eye is the vision quest of a shamanic healer in my opinion and Dr. Wintrob is no exception. Forever changing my mind about how a visit to the optometrist should look like everywhere.
