Our stay at Holiday Sands South in Myrtle Beach was disappointing. The two ladies at the check-in desk were rude, unprofessional, and lacked basic customer service skills, which set a very poor first impression. The room itself was acceptable, but the toilet was extremely low to the floor — uncomfortably so. The one bright spot was a staff member cleaning the elevator who was kind and courteous, which slightly improved our experience. Better front-desk training and attention to guest comfort are definitely needed.

Ive been staying at this hotel for about 20 years. The hotel is older but they take care of it. The rooms are always clean and staff is friendly. Its always a great price and its on the south end of Ocean blvd where there isn't as much traffic or noise. The view is amazing both day and night. As of now I have no plans to stay at any other hotel on my trips to Myrtle Beach. You also get to use the pools not only at this hotel but the pools and lazy river at the condos next door.

Some rooms are ok,Internet is horrible , Not to quick with maintenance, Had to have shower repaired at 9:30 pm, Never staying there ever again

Rooms very outdated, connecting door to next door room could not be locked , felt unsafe,although front desk said no one from other side could open OUR door. Room had balcony with side oceanview Location on the beach is good, inside restaurant highly overpriced, drive a few minutes for plenty of restaurant choices
