this company advertises as nice place to live. what they wont tell you is that once you sign on the line, your loved one will be charged for everything they do. they dont include every meal but will invite your loved one to breakfast, or lunch only to charge the additional fee towards rent. every employee has a master key to all residents apartments, including the barber or hair tech. Lived there for year, almost perfect living conditions, the help, management are super, food is good the quality great but does not include a steak or something you would go out to dinner for. It is somewhat costly. Steve Serdinsky

My MIL lived here for close to 1 year (2012—2013). When we toured the facility, the staff was friendly, the residents seemed happy and there were lots of activities planned for them. The Marketing representative was also very nice and she made it clear that this was for independent senior living, but they had a company, All Care, on-site to help with basic care/nursing needs. So, the apartment company and the nursing company are 2 separate entities within the community and they bill separately. I can’t really complain about ... read more

Had a family member in this facility for approximately one year. We were initially impressed and quite satisfied with management and the contracted nursing at the location. However, the service began a serious decline. There were numerous issues with the contracted nursing such as mean and rude employees, erratic medication delivery and phone calls never returned. This is a great place for mom and dad to retire,excellent staff,food,housekeeping. I am so glad my parents live here. Always something to do and somewhere to go. It's feels like a fancy hotel. My dad says he's a king and mom is a queen living here. I highly recommend Pinecrest!!!

Dear Evergreen: This is horrible, distasteful and childish- I would expect nothing less from you- its a beautiful example of what your company is like and how professional they are. Here are the real facts: *Our building has at least 4 housekeepers on M-F and 1 on Sunday that are always there to help with any thing. We provide weekly housekeeping to all residents and that includes linens. *The rent has never, and will never be raised monthly. Awful place- dirty, they make promises to people and dont keep them, raise rent monthly, have no activities to do, or bus to take them places, food is nasty, they can't pay their bills so they wont put AC on in the hallway. Management is very rude all of them. The serving staff is super nice but Managment is phoney and rude! I am sure why they dont keep employee's is due to rudeness! Please dont place your loved one here-

My parents lived in one unit there and moved to another unit, only to learn it was infested with bed bugs and they suffered bites and doctor visits to treat. Facility delayed treatment of situation and refused to compensate for items that were recommended to be disposed of. We also learned they had had a previous bed bug problem and had taken responsibility but now they won't. Finally had to move our parents from there. While other conditions were not optimal, they were ok, but this was the last straw.
