Do not! rent a private RV in this park. Its on native land and the rental tenancy board has no authority here. They can throw you out at a moments notice even though you paid a damage deposit and rent. The park itself is pretty solid but you have to pay a lease fee of $20 to the park every month if youre a renter. If its not paid the park can ask you to leave with 24hrs notice even though you have already paid rent to your landlord.
Stayed for a week with agroup of friends in a number of apartments. The rooms were well supplied and comfortable and the facilities (i.e. exercise, golf course, lake, etc.) were great. Internet was a bit slow and it's a bit of a drive into Kewlona, but neither are a deal breaker. The staff and residents are friendly and welcoming.
Just a great place to visit and live.
The resort is beautiful, the pools and spa are good, and there is a small library, with books, dvds, and pool tables in the adjoining area. The restaurant served pizza which was below average: Hawaiian Pizza with very little pieces of pineapple and tomato. The condo unit was quite small, but comfortable. The customer service was very good, subject to my comment about the pizza.
