The indoor pool and hot tub area need some major TLC. Felt very grimy. Even just upgrading the lighting would do wonders. The outdoor pool was great though. The rooms were also clean, but the bathroom was quite small.
Checked in after Canobie Park visit. I had called the night before for crib but in the day the front receptionist didn't see any crib on the reservation. However, Laura was so nice and she's like let me work on it right away. We settled in the room and Jenny was able to get that in our room. Fortunately, the crib was not a beat up lack and play. I don't usually leave reviews but I need to take the time to give a special shout out to Laura at the Holiday inn salem location. I've been staying at hotels every other weekend and Laura is one of the kindest and considerate people I have met so far. Shes has great customer service and she's honestly just a great person to talk to. She treats you as if she enjoys her job which most dont. Theres never any attitude given to the customer and you dont feel like she's rushing to get you out of her face which if you stay at hotel... read more
