October 3 - 10 2026! My husband and I spend the week at this hotel! The lady at the front desk gave us the wrong room which was two queen size beds and we paid for a king ocean front suit. The first night we had to stay in the two queen beds room and she would talk her supervisor to give us a discount for the difference in the two rooms. She was so rude! I just left after the hotel had no running water. And then it was yellowish brown. When I arrived a few days ago the toilet didn’t work. I spent SIX HOURS with this same maintenance guy in and out of my room. I had NO privacy. And then today? The same maintenance fellow was now the shuttle driver. And he refused. REFUSED to allow me to get in. I have a cane. He told me to return my bike. He was over half an hour late picking me up. And then TWICE he told me to go return the bike. This location is a bit tired. Rooms were very humid despite a/c and the carpets needed a deep clean. Our first room had air conditioning that could not be controlled nor turned off. We were moved to another room after maintenance came and couldn't fix the a/c. However, I had to call to the front desk to see where maintenance had gone and what was happening. This hotel gets five stars for their commitment to accessibility. I asked about the pool lift. And got a clear response. “Yes. It works. You just come see us when you want to use it because we keep the battery”. I nodded approvingly because the employee knew exactly what the procedure was. And I’m sure every other employee does too because the managers like Ms Valerie are amazing. And Jessica is new and I had NO idea because she’s so good at her job.
