Was under renovation in some hallways but at least they stopped work during our convention.
We frequent Wilmar for the races and have stayed at a few other hotels. The other hotels don't compare to this one. It's a little outdated and there are some cosmetic things that could be fixed to make it look nicer but the rooms are big, the beds are comfy and for the most part the staff is very, very friendly. The front desk clerk on the overnight shift needed a little bit more training on customer service. She wouldn't open the door and let us in. Really happy with my visit to Holiday Inn Express & Suites Willmar by IHG. Quiet, cozy, and exactly what I needed for the trip. Great location, friendly staff, and a restful stay. I'll be recommending this spot to everyone I know.
Staff super friendly...our room was a handicap room and the shower was kind of tricky
