Highly recommend this hotel, very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved that when I got in late I could walk over to Ruff's and get dinner and a beer. Great food at Ruff's too - wings were excellent

I was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice this hotel was. Very relaxing and quiet. The front desk worker was so helpful and accommodating with my situation. She was very friendly and efficient. If I return to the area I will definitely be staying here again.

Was under renovation in some hallways but at least they stopped work during our convention.

We frequent Wilmar for the races and have stayed at a few other hotels. The other hotels don't compare to this one. It's a little outdated and there are some cosmetic things that could be fixed to make it look nicer but the rooms are big, the beds are comfy and for the most part the staff is very, very friendly. The front desk clerk on the overnight shift needed a little bit more training on customer service. She wouldn't open the door and let us in.
