I was pleasantly surprised with this Holiday Inn. As of 2026, it is 11 years old (i asked staff) and seems to be well maintained. If you are the lake side, it is really scenic looking over the water and the trees with sunsets is quite nice. The east side of the hotel faces a parking lot so nothing scenic there. The breakfast was okay, nothing amazing but it got the job done. The coffee was pretty good for hotel coffee and available at all times - in addition hot water for tea was also available. I came here after leaving the Hampton down the street they tried to charge me for 10,000$ for 10 chicken sandwich’s at the Burger King right there. There was a large white male with long hair working huge man. He was very polite but when I tried to scan my card with his wireless card scanner he would hand me across the counter he would tell me my card “declined” he had me do this about 15-20 times he had me swipe my card then he told me to sit down and wait I did that then finally he told me it went through then my memory’s ... read more
