Horrible experience. When we first walked in the lobby smelled like a wet fireplace. Hallways smelled. Elevator was filthy. Our room had no blow dryer so I tried to call the desk. My room phone was not working. I then used my cell phone to call the desk, three times. No one answered. Finally, I went to the desk and they said that people steal the dryers so they didn’t keep them in the rooms. We should have been told this upon checking in. They did not tell us when they booked it that it would be under construction at the time. The rooms were fine. The hallways were all drywall and paste. The AC wasn't really working, but it worked in our room.

Room smelled very musty the second we walked in, like it hadn’t been aired out in ages and stayed that way throughout our stay. Tub was stained, grout dirty, carpet worn, and everything felt run-down. The lobby even had a cigarette smell. Kids were running above us at all hours of the night. The vending machine was broken, the room phone didn’t work to call the front desk, and the famous cinnamon buns we were actually looking forward to? Nowhere to be found.
