Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Sherwood This is a fairly new building. Opened few years ago. The owner takes such a genuine approach to hospitality that they renovated a year after grand opening. That’s extremely rare! When you walk in, you are greeted right away by supper friendly staff. Your check in desk will be to the left of the entrance. A gem of a hotel next to a Shell gas station amidst a tangle of Interstate ramps, this is the nicest of the hotels I stayed in between Houston and Chicago. The front desk was very helpful with things I'd forgotten, even giving me extra bar soaps that lasted me all the way to Chi-Town. I can't speak to its accessibility if you're doing business in Little Rock proper, but if you're traveling, this hotel is a great place to stop and spend the night, especially if you're traveling with pets. The reason for a 3 star review on the room is that the only lights that we had in the room was the desk top lamp and bathroom light. The lights on the bedside table or the tall floor light did not work. The beds tipped toward the head of the bed making your weight land on your neck. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Other than this the room was clean. Everyone that we ran into that worked there was very polite.
