The hotel looks very nice. However if you are from Fort Dodge be aware that they will not allow you to stay. My daughter made a reservation so her daughter could go swimming for her birthday. When she arrived she was told she and family couldn't stay because they were from Fort Dodge. Then my daughter from Colorado and family made reservation and prepaid for her room. Very clean! Staff were great. Continental breakfast was hot and tasty. Breakfast attendant was friendly, helpful and kept everything clean, hot and fresh.
Billing lacks transparency. Hotel staff not longer responsive. I'm out $25. Invoice has two line items: Nightly Rate and Tax recovery & Fees. If the front-desk person hadn't advised that $25 would be released back to me I would never have known to look for it. The money was not released. I reached out to the hotel 39 days after my stay, then the funds were released. BUT - It has been 2 weeks since the hotel released the funds and my bank has no record of the transaction. Prime location with restaurant access. Must stay for buniess travel in the area. Stones throw away from the local fedex station. I know its more than twice as much as anything else in the area, but I promise you, you are not that cheap. If you want to relax in a level of comfort even remotely close to home, unless that home is a third world country, stay here. You'll regret it otherwise.
