My husband and I stayed in this hotel while attending a wedding in the area. I waited too long to book a room in the hotel where the wedding party was staying -- but that may have been for the best... they were up all hours of the night partying! :) This hotel is only 3 miles from downtown DeLand and just as close to the wedding venue. Naked man in room when checking in
Hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable, however service needs work and don't get me started on breakfast. The first morning, the breakfast attendant didn't show up untill about 7am, the night auditor was scrambling to get stuff out. This is the first Holiday Inn that breakfast looks like no effort was put in to it. No hot stuff except oatmeal. Never staying here again for that reason. On their site it says they have a restaurant on site, but it's closed so they need to update the site.
Cleaning staff was very unprofessional with my stay at this location.
