Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Dog friendly.
$325 seems a bit steep for a lone adult traveler. Though sleep and bath areas were excellent, I detest the absence of bar soap. How much would it cost IHG to put a mini bar of soap 🧼 out?
Stayed here for a concert down in Charlottesville. It was a good experience overall. The shower had some areas that to me could have been cleaner and the bathroom floor as well. The hallway, elevator snd entry way carpets were dirty. When I walk into a hotel and see those things being dirty it lowers my expectations of the cleanliness throughout. My room was dirty. I had to wipe off my own coffee table and nightstand and you could see the dirt buildup under the bathroom sink. The service was great at the front desk and the bar. My food was tasty and the bar price was reasonable. The nasty thing was the pool. There was so much filth built up that after I got in I noticed that all around the water line, it was clean below the water and so filth covered above the water line that people had scratched their initials in the filth.
