This hotel was nice but not a good price point.. I paid $233.79 USD$ for 300sqft 1/bed room.. that's $311 CAN$ ..EH! ..and now they're sending me 3-5 emails per day to come back.. ?? And? It took them 14 days+ to take an additional $75 USD$ hold on my credit card..! Never been stuffed about Holiday Inn, and really not so now.. the only reason I chose it was that it was closed to the ferry dock heading east to Powell River.. Nope..
Only downside to the hotel was the wifi was really slow.. enough that I couldn't stream anything on Netflix without it buffering and losing connection about 6 times in one movie.
Very clean, friendly staff but best part is the blinds. Best rest we had in a hotel. Very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast.
Had a long term stay there recently. The staff were all lovely, whether that was front desk (shoutout to Yui [so sorry if I spelled your name wrong!!] who was always so wonderful), kitchen or cleaners. It was very clean. It seemed pretty sound proof between rooms which was nice. Beds were super comfortable too. Wifi was nice and fast.
Excellent staff, room was clean and quiet, the entire property is well-maintained. Breakfast was great. Will definitely stay here again.
