I stayed here while passing through. The staff was polite, but the property is in very poor condition. The pool was closed, the gym stinks and the entire building has foul odors. One stairwell smelled like a port-a-potty, the other like spoiled food. The elevator reeked like a horse barn. My room smelled of mold and stale smoke. The air conditioner was the main culprit, blasting a throat-irritating stench every time it turned on and making it impossible to sleep. Best Hotel I have stayed in in years! Yes they are doing renovations, and the pool is closed because of it. I see all the reviews complaining about the renovations but you got to realize a business still has to run to make the money to pay for renovations. And they have done everything possible to make sure the renovations don't negatively impact either guests stay. And if you want to know if the pool is open or closed call and ask. Absolutely amazing stay! Rooms are great, clean, and comfy. And their soap and shampoo smell fantastic. The breakfast is delicious! The cinnamon rolls the the best, always soft and warm. And the staff is so friendly made our trip even more enjoyable. Thank you all for a fantastic stay!
