I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Bay City from 2/8–2/13 while in town for work, and unfortunately my experience was very concerning. One evening when I returned from work, I found the door to my room not only unlocked but propped open. I have stayed here for 1 week now. The elevator has been broken the entire time. With no expected date of repair. Many other broken things need maintenance.

Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly. We would stay here again.

Well place is clean, but I can’t get over the fact that they haven’t had an elevator for about 2 weeks, and somehow since the elevator isn’t working the washer and dryers don’t work either. I can understand having equipment issues for a day or two but when it comes to weeks it makes me think they just don’t want to spend the money to fix it, if they are looking to save money there I wonder what other corners they are cutting to save money.
