Desk clerk by the name of Tay. Super nice, friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond to be sure we were well taken care of. Greatly appreciated. Was in town due to an illness in the family and she was awesome all the way around.
This is my go-to hotel in St. Louis--which I seem to always be in. First, less address what the hotel really is. It is a very historic motel. It has been modernized and renovated over time to keep up with modern esthetic, but it really does have that historic vibe. What does it mean? the rooms are a bit smaller. Just stayed two days there Oct. 28 thru Oct. 30, 2025 for the Clutch chess tournament at the St. Louis chess club. I was quoted roughly 100.00/per night, which I paid at the time of booking. I was, of course, hit with a couple small fees at checkout but we all know those are coming. What I wasn't expecting were the additional fees that hit my account over the next week.
