Clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. And you can walk next door to the TimberCreek brewpub for dinner.

The hotel was in a dark section, which the city should put more street lights. No issues checking in. The floors above us creeked, our floor creeked. The breakfast was not impressive.

Our room had a nightlight that automatically came on when it got dark and there was no way to turn it off. I don’t know if we were in a specialized room but no one told us nor did we get much help fixing it. Except tape to tape a paper plate over it. Just not sure why the light even existed.

So, we stayed for 2 nights. Beds, super uncomfortable. But, main complaints were the lack of cleanliness. Coming from somebody who has worked in housekeeping myself, I know that the rooms can never be "perfect." Things happen. But, just no excuse for some of this stuff. Staff was super nice. But, I feel like they need to re train their housekeeping staff and do weekly inspections of rooms. Hallways had debris. Rooms had lots of hair laying around.
