Amazing service by Brittany, a hospitable, kindhearted staff member! Would definitely recommend this amazing, affordable villa hotel to anyone visiting Lake Tahoe/Genoa!
Accepts 3rd party VRBO bookings... & then surprise charges the card you put on file at check in for "incidental insurance only" with hundres in nightly resort fees & additional taxes. Insists it's not their problem we booked via a 3rd party & the fees are "up front" due to being listed on their own website. Up front is being charged everything w/the original booking. Not accepting the resevation, letting us check in w/zero additional notification of further charges and being insanely rude while justifying theft.
The Views are absolutely stunning The Staff were extremely kind and gave a warm and friendly vibes. I enjoyed the steam room and sauna but mineral hot spring soaking tubs are where the magic happened. I soaked away my sins and came out looking and feeling 5 years younger. Will definitely be coming back!
History, restaurant & its staff, views? All great. However, Holiday Inn staff is rude & troublesome. Got little sleep due to door between rooms being insanely thin & staff calling the room in the A.M. while we slept to try & sell us time shares. Repeatedly pushed time shares like a car salesman while you were trying to relax. Booked on VRBO & then charged $118 in resort fees on top of that, after being told my card was placed on file purely for incidental.
