Pool is still closed but they do not warn guests before booking!!! Cancel while you still can if that is deal breaker for you

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. I accidentally left food in the fridge and called within an hour to ask if I could return to pick it up if it hadn’t been thrown out. After being put on hold, I was assured it would be kept for me. I then drove 30 minutes back — only to be told by the same person who had assured me on the phone, that it had already been tossed. Even if you don't travel often, by now almost everyone has realized the hotel industry has moved to refillable containers for shampoo, soap, body wash, and lotion - because it's better for the environment. Well, no they did it to save money, but let's go with the saving the environment angle. The problem with this is all these solutions look and smell the same, with almost the same consistency.
