June 2025 Avoid this hotel. We checked in and immediately walked into a room that smelled like urine. The hotel’s solution was to give us an aerosol spray that was industrial use only. They “had no other rooms” available that night and we tried to ignore the smell. After one of us closed the bathroom door to shower we saw a literal poop on the floor. Well first of all I had to stay for my work, the rooms are nice. The location is ideal, the reason why I am reviewing it is because of the condition of the parking lot, snow was everywhere which is understandable, the issue with that is that the parking lot wasn’t plowed in such a manner to get my car out, friends from my job was here as well an we had to dig our path clear……later on the same evening I was able to get my car out an decided to move to a more convenient space, when I did I was struck all over again, other hote... read more
ABSOLUTE BEST for any UVA visits.
The location is great and the hotel and even the rooms are nice, BUT if you have any difficulty sleeping there's a couple things that really work against your comfort: First, REALLY bright lights in the bathroom and bedside. Goodbye any sleepies, you have just been blinded by the light. Second, the toilets flush with incredible force, just set a firecracker off in my ear why don't you! And to a much lesser degree: The bathroom doors are on rollers, so they make a loud rumble any time they open and close. The rooms were neat ... read more
