First I’m reviewing the hotel/rooms, the staff was fine, didn’t visit the bar/restaurant, and based on the rooms we didn’t want to eat breakfast here. This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. After traveling for work for over 20 years I have stayed at many. This place is run down big time. I don’t know how this hotel has 4 stars, other than the pool area there’s no redeeming qualities. I've stayed an many hotels/motels throughout my life. My experience at this one was by far the worst I've had. Rooms are not of good quality, very outdated and the shower had very little water pressure and it took over 5 minutes to get warm water. The biggest issue was with the front desk and payment. When I checked in, there was only 1 guest ahead of me, who also had a reservation like I did as well. The front desk attendant was so slow to check in, over 10 minutes. I would NEVER stay here! We booked when it was Holiday Inn and since our booking they have been bought out. First off, when checking in, the front desk was very rude! We had arrived at 2:20pm. We were told that we would have to pay a $30.00 early check-in fee. Are you kidding me our room was ready so why charge us extra money! We had no chose but to pay it because we needed to get ready for the event we were attending. The room itself is very out dated, small, smelled and just overall dirty. We OVER paid for what we got! Fine if you're okay getting up with the sun. Curtains that don't close. Seems odd to me.
