Cute apartments at a good price. Well maintained.
My partner applied and visited the apartment complex a few weeks ago, they were friendly and acted as if they were going to give him the apartment. After he applied and sent everything correctly they went silent. He kept being told he’ll be informed in a few weeks if he got it. That time would pass and he would call asking for an answer. (a note the tour guide was nice no complaints to her. the manger? was rude) took almost three weeks to look at my application and then tried to tell me i was denied without telling me a reason :/ then were rude on the phone because I was upset (but i was very understanding about it.) EVENTUALLY said I could as a co-signer but It’s not worth it to me now. unprofessional as someone who also works in housing.
Any maintenance issues I had was fixed and I had a plumbing issue they worked overtime to fix. The neighbors are friendly and respectful of quiet times. The French lady property manager is rude and nosy but what property manager isn't? Their maintenance team is the best I've ever seen.
I cannot express how wonderful this property is. I've lived here a year, the staff is so incredibly polite and communicative. Any maintenance issues I had was fixed and I had a plumbing issue they even worked overtime to fix. The neighbors are so friendly and respectful of quiet times. I'm honestly sad to move but found a house for rent that was more spacious. If I ever have to rent an apartment in Lawrence again I will be coming back.
