A huge shoutout to Mr. Johnny Eli and Ms. Vera—they truly make this place special. Mr. Johnny Eli is always positive, helpful, and makes sure everyone feels included. Ms. Vera is just as incredible—kind, attentive, and always keeping things running smoothly. You can tell they genuinely care about the people who come in. Because of them, the center feels safe, organized, and enjoyable every time I visit. Definitely one of the best recreation centers around. I highly recommend checking it out!

My experience at Hope Recreation Center was honestly one of the worst I’ve had at a place like this. The workers are extremely disrespectful and act like they don’t want to be there at all. It feels like customers are an inconvenience to them rather than the reason the center exists. What really stood out in a negative way was how they treated others, especially little kids and even a group of girls. The staff were rude, impatient, and completely unprofessional. The workers are always on their phones, and they wouldn’t know you came in until you came closer or unless you made a noise.Also I saw many times that the workers are watching on front desk computer and they always seem rude.
