This place is great. It has a walking/ jogging track, nice workout weight machines and free weights. Also a carpeted area to stretch or do floor exercises. I am here in Garland visiting my sister for a month. I paid $16 for a guest one month pass. What a wonderful amenity for Garland residents and their visitors.
I used to go to the old Holford rec back-in-the-day with my cousin to hoop (play basketball), foosball, ping-pong (table tennis), etc., and even played pick-up in the caged outdoor basketball courts. This NEW Holford rec (saw it 2-3 times and toured around), with its outdoor amenities, the new outdoor basketball court, the indoor one in the rec, with the mile-track above, and the old one never had a work-out section and equipment, WOW! The new facility is NICE…!!!!!
