There is sand on the beach area!! Alot of places to sit and great views of the water! I spent time walking barefoot connecting to mother earth, who brought me peace, relaxation, and a way to distress! Beautiful place of serenity! They have several park items for children, such as swings, mini jungle gym, etc.. places to grill, to park, and you can even take your boat out! We tried ti fund someone to give us a ride. ...no luck!
