He gets it in,charges an unreal bill,no itemizing just a figure he pulls out. Authorized up to 2,000. To put new ignition switch,prop and tune up. $8,000. Was the price he pulled out. Ive had 2 dealings with Holcomb marine. 1st years ago tried buying a use mercruiser head, price was way out there, cheaper in Portland. The second time I wantted transom hole pluged in a Tollycraft, the guy starts going, comes up with a 12k price tag, i hung up on him, i had work done $4500.
