Wouldn't go anywhere else I took my Pug Lola there when she was pregnant, Dr. Pete was excellant, concerned helpful, gentle. We have 3 pugs, Lola, Boo, and Calvin, would not even consider taking our dogs anywhere else.
Excellent Caring Vets Once you are established with them, they will ALWAYS make time for a last minute emergency. That beats having to go to an emergency vet and pay $100.+ to walk in the door. They charge $45. for an office visit. It is small family owned and has 2 vets. A father and daughter. The father Dr Pete lives on the premises, so if your pet has to stay over, he will check on them through the night, unlike other vets, who want you to leave your pet there and then go home and leave them by themselves!! Our family has been patients since my mom and now me. We started when Dr Kara was a little girl following her daddy around. Her dad expanded the practice when Dr. Kara made the commitment to carry on with the business. Time passes so we might be with Holbrook over 50 years. Many animals have left us. We continue to add to our home. Now, we have 3 standard Golden Doodles and an Aussie Doodle mini. We feel like we are home. Seeing Dr. Kara in the family owned business brings us great pride. We have been using The Hospital for our pets since the 60s.
We have been going to Holbrook Animal Hospital since 1996. Kara and her staff take great care of our dogs.
Called to have my cat seen who isn’t eating and I was refused care. I was told that they were only taking new clients with puppies and kittens. Why should it matter the age of the animal? That just tells me this Doctor has no compassion. I ended up at North Main Street veterinary clinic and they were wonderful.

Dr Cara is the best of the best!!! I highly recommend her to anyone who loves their pet like I do !!!!
