I stopped by Hokusai Shaved Ice in Vacaville and had a great experience. The place is super clean with plenty of seating and great for hanging out without feeling crowded. The menu was really clear and easy to follow, which made ordering quick. I went with the Longboard size and picked one of their premix flavors called Unicorn Kiss a very fun combo of pink bubble gum, blue Hawaii and mango. Hokulia Save Ice is authentic Hawaiian shave ice. The ice is extremely fluffy and doesn’t freeze together after adding the flavors. Adding a scoop of ice cream in the bottom is a must, you won’t be disappointed. I’ve had Kona shave ice here in town and they don’t compare to the quality and taste of Hokulia.Â
Perfect on a hot day. Price was good, 3 sizes, many flavor combos. I had 2 cups so good. Had Seating. This is outside in the Bowling alley parking lotÂ
Surprisingly the same as the shaved ice in Hawaii. Reasonably priced. Multiple flavor options.Â
