Women at the counter was very rude and unhelpful. While handling the purchased glass products she was very rough and i had to make sure that it was not damaged after. The only saving grace is that the products looked decent.
The glass is beautiful but I have given 3 stars because the lady that served us was so rude. She asked our holiday plans and then rubbished them. It felt as though she was making fun of us. My kids who were really well behaved and didn’t touch anything were looked at like they were most unwelcome. I thought maybe she was having an off day but I can see from the other reviews that this is just her being her usual self. I would suggest that the owners work on improving their customer service
Ordered several items online. They arrived faster than expected, were carefully packaged and of quality I had hoped for. Will order from Hokitika Glass again.
Bought as little glass fern here as a remembrance of our trip. Very interesting stuff and friendly staff
Picked up some lovely glass pieces here, and got a recommendation to see a nearby gorge (which was beautiful) and try a local sandwich shop (which was delicious)!
