I strongly discourage seeing this doctor. In 2020, during my surgery, she made a mistake which required her to call in another doctor to fix the damage. Unfortunately, the procedure to repair the damage caused me a great deal of pain and misery.
I would not recommend her at all. She performed surgery and it was an unmitigated disaster. Her incompetence put my life in peril. She had to call in a second surgeon to repair the damage that she did. Go to anyone in Fairbanks but Dr. Hogenson.
Dr Hogenson is by far the best doctor I have ever had, She is kind, compassionate- I wouldn't want to have anyone else as my OB!!
If I could give Dr Hogenson 10 stars I would but this only accepts 5. Dr Hogenson is an extremely gifted surgeon and doctor. She is generous, attentive, kind and helpful , She listened to all my concerns and was very patient answering all my questions and always makes sure I'm comfortable with the treatment plans for any issues I have, she is the best!
Doctor Ellie is wonderful. She is a very patient and kind doctor, and I'm glad she's my doctor.
Dr. Hogenson has been my provider for over 10 years. She is a caring and understanding physician who is very knowledgeable. I would without hesitation trust her with my life or the lives of my children or unborn child. Her office is always very clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I have nothing negative to say about the care I receive at Chena OBGYB!
Office is clean and welcoming. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Hogenson is an extremely positive, warm individual with an excellent bedside manner. She actually encourages questions, listens to what you ask her, and responds fully and with honesty. She is guiding me through an extremely difficult and high-risk pregnancy and I am so grateful to be in her care.
I saw doctor Hogenson for a few appointments around puberty because of inherited problems. She was really kind and didnt put me into the same category as every other woman of reproductive age. She really was like a therapist, and helped me to navigate through issues without being pushy.
