Hogan Excavating did a wonderful job on our driveway at a great price. Vermont is plagued by contractors trying to take advantage of you and/or contractors that are unreliable. Stephen Hogan is not one of them. Hogan Excavating is professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend their services no matter the project.
Steve installed a driveway and culvert for us. He was able to recommend local loggers (Emerson and Sons; also a great team) who cleared the site for us. Afterward Steve helped us through the planning process as well as local permitting process. The work was finished promptly and exceeded our expectations. Hogan rebuilt a long slopeing stone drive for us per the original free estimate. Friendly, professional, experienced, on time, and had all the tools necessary to complete the excellent service. He delivered, spred, raked, and rolled the material with multiple vehicles/attachments designed for each task. Extremely satisfied!

Stephen was patient, helpful, and efficient in all of his work on the projects on our farm. He worked with USDA NRCS engineers, technical service providers, and myself to plan, review, and complete two ford style stream crossings for cattle, and a number of smaller projects.
