I was driving west on Five Point Hwy and passed a Hoffman Brothers Inc dump truck who was going east on Five Point Hwy without his net over the back of the truck, which was loaded. The truck lost a rock about 2 1/2-3” across that hit my windshield breaking it. I turned around and followed the truck to the area between I69 on and off ramp where they were dumping. Hoffman Brothers is a very professional operation.
I had been a union carpenter prior to laboring. I loved working for Hoffman, not very many helpful people. Very competitive company to work for. They aren't looking for good help. It took me till I was 20 years old to be able to get a vehicle to have a job, this was a lot like being a union carpenter. You get thrown to the wolves and never make it.
