The food was excellent but what really stood out was the service. Billy did a fantastic job educating us on the menu, and even gave us some good tips on cooking. Will definitely be back soon!
I got extremely ill from food poisoning after eating raw marinated crab.
Very delicious and savory beef and steaks, lol but you cooked it yourself. Their dishes are pretty good too. Their waitstaff is friendly and professional. However they had to put a warning because they said there are a lot of flies in the restaurant which might impact your appetite a bit. And they put these tabletop fans to keep flies off your food I guess? Once they deal with the flies properly, highly recommended to dine here and cook the steaks and beef yourself lol. I've placed to-go orders for Sulungtang several times here, and it's always tasted yummy and authentic, except today. The front-of-house worker took off the charge because I called after pick-up to say that the soup color looked off (it was brown when it's supposed to be milky white - see photo). I could also taste soy. She said they marinate the beef slices with sauce, and I said I couldn't eat gluten because of a sensitivity (wheat is usually an ingredient of soy-based sauces).
