Read their many complaints on the BBB website. I have been waiting to write this review until I had exhausted all means of getting my complaint taken care of. Here we are a year later with nothing. First of all, they are terrible at communicating. After many emails back and forth with Hobert and logging a complaint with the BBB it appears we are stuck with an embarrassing $18000 remodel. The service manager/owner's daughter Linda is rude and interruptive. I scheduled an appt to install a new diving board. I talked with Kristi on a Fri. Very nice and helpful lady. Sent about 8 pictures of the board that was cracking and the measurements. I asked if there was any way that they tech could actually bring a board or two that might work and if this could be done in one day, great, if not I would have a second call. As others have stated, their customer service is poor. They built a nice pool, but made mistakes in calculations along the way. Rather than honor the contract price they asked us to pay an additional amount. Later, when the walk around the pool began to crack and become unusable, they said that was our fault for not paying $100 more to get what was necessary. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM HOBERT POOLS Signed Contract for Pool/Patio work in February 2013 and pool not complete until September 2013. Patio work was UNPROFESSIONAL with mismatched stone. Hobert added on to an existing patio with wrong stone and did not interlace the stones to hide the seam. I think a two-year old could have done a better job. i agree, what's the point of advertising 6,000 off a pool when they can't tell you what the cost of a pool is? And once they come up with a price, they say that includes the 6,000 discount, but who really knows, it's all a guessing game. It's called bait and switch or false advertisement.

They have an ad for a pool and spa for $29500, but when you call them they come with a design for 50,000. The guy wasted 2 weeks of our time and on our appointment time when he was supposed to have drawn our design he called and said he is not a salesmen and negotiating is for sales people. hey buddy not sure what you are thinking, but I give you another 6 months before I see you go out of business. You clearly have no CUSTOMER service and have no clue what you are doing.
