Wait times are ridiculous. Coyne atleast gives an estimated time of waiting as well as early check in from home. Ive waited 2-3 hours at both this facility and crossroads. Two weeks ago my dog was attacked by another dog, when I brought him into Crossroads with his neck torn open they told me to take a seat… mind you it was emergency hours and their excuse was they were still seeing day patients. The fact my dogs meat was hanging out of his neck did not seem to concerning to them.

I’ve been there a few times over the last 6 years. Brought 3 of my pets there for various reasons. I’ve worked at and went to Animal Welfare League in Illinois, so since moving here to Indiana needed a local vet. I was not at all happy with the care my pets received and ended up switching to Coyne over the last few years. Recently I had an emergency situation and no vet was available yet at Coyne, who sent me to emergency at Hobart. I have been taking my pets there for about 12 years. Up until approximately 4 years ago I was pleased with the vets and service.They were getting routine office visits during that time. My dog has seizures and has been treated with medication for 6 years. He still has seizures but they are trying to convince me that they are controlled since he doesn't have them more than once a month.
