A well deserved 5 out of 5! I am here for work for a couple of weeks and training at HOA while I am here. I am a black belt and have been training BJJ for the last 18 years. The incredible knowledge and high-level of attention to teaching that Prof. Thiago and the other instructors in this academy show is impressive. I highly recommend to anyone thinking about it that they come and try it out.
The facility is spacious and accommodates large groups. The kids’ classes are well-run, and the instructor is excellent.
HOA is the top tier Jiu Jitsu school in the area. The instruction is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and ego-free. Thiago truly cares about his students, and has always treated me and my son like family. Cannot say enough good this place, it's a community just as much as it is a gym.
Awesome instructors and a very welcoming environment for people who are new to BJJ/MMA. I have been going to the beginner classes on Tuesday nights with my rugby team and they have been a blast! Tiago and Duncan are great guys and great to learn from.
