Ordered “Bun Rieu” takeout on a Wednesday night. Having eaten Bun Rieu all my life, from all the Vietnamese restaurants in the Twin Cities, and Hoa Bien included, this is the first time I experienced a fake, yucky (to be polite) Bun Rieu. It’s just a mess of loosed scramble egg (along with a tons of the burnt black particles from the wok), tofu, with some dash of crab stick.
