Ordered “Bun Rieu” takeout on a Wednesday night. Having eaten Bun Rieu all my life, from all the Vietnamese restaurants in the Twin Cities, and Hoa Bien included, this is the first time I experienced a fake, yucky (to be polite) Bun Rieu. It’s just a mess of loosed scramble egg (along with a tons of the burnt black particles from the wok), tofu, with some dash of crab stick. Simply the Best! – If I had one last meal, it would be here. For the grilled beef bun. #57. High quality and fresh vegetables make for truly delcious food. This place has been around for a long time and they have kept to their"knitting" -the preparation of fine fresh Vietnamese food that is not dumbed down for American palates. The place is bright and pleasant and there is ample parking in the adjacent lot.
