Called and asked if they provided a service to push a wrist pin out of ONE piston. They said yes, and didn’t give me any quote or extra information. After going in for roughly 20 minutes, their single machine press cost me $90. I’m not too experienced in pricing on this, but i was expecting more like $20-40 for one singular press and maybe 15 minutes of somebody’s time. HMS replaced my low pressure fuel sending unit last year. The pump failed again and after diagnostics they completed another R&R and warrantied the parts and labor. I appreciate HMS for standing behind their service and providing me with a sense of trust that they will make it right. Thanks guys!
HONESTY is the #1 thing I look for in a shop, AND they are fairly priced. Big plus that they know diesels!
They got our rollback in and out pretty quick! Gave a very detailed inspection report that most other shops don’t offer! Will definitely be coming back here!
