Dr. Shelton Hager seemed like a good physician, but unfortunately, HMG has chosen to use third party companies for billing and any paperwork (short & long term disability, FMLA, LOA's for work, etc.) which seems like a possible HIPPA violation to me. Perhaps someone with a law degree could hit me up and talk about it
Why do your doctors schedule appointments when they can't keep them? It is 50 minutes past the appointment time, and still haven't seen the doctor yet. Also, what do you have against comfort? It's almost 80° outside, and yall don't even have the air circulating on the 5th floor. I heard several people complain. There is also a privacy issue. The people who call out your name ask for your birthdate before they are even behind doors. I heard everybody's name and birthdate while waiting.
Urgent care and my primary care has been excellent. I find the specialists are hard to get an appointment with in a timely manner. They take forever to call you back if you leave a message or try for an appointment. Calling you back does not seem to be a difficult task, but it is. Even to answer a simple question. Nowhere do I find a place on portal to send an email question.
Never saw me on time. If you schedule for 10am, you aren’t seen until at least 45 minutes later. And then you are brought in to the room and wait. You could see that there’s 4 rooms per one doctor. You can’t simply split into multiples and see a couple patients at once. As I am waiting I can hear the doctor speaking to another patient in the room next door, while I am already past my scheduled time for an hour now.
