I had an appointment scheduled I drive all the way to the appointment show up try to check in. It says I have to see front desk. I go to the front desk and the lady is confused on why I can’t check in and turns out they had canceled my appointment without telling me and the woman explained that they had tried to call beforehand, but I never once received a call. The female surgeon just typed my pcps last name in and pulled up someone elses brain scan on a hernua consult wo checking name or dob of patient then argued it was my brain scan. She was supposed to look at hernia scans in the abdomen. Cant even check a chart, not cutting into me.
After a traumatic ER experience getting the same procedure done in a different area of the body a year ago, I was so scared to have this done today but both my doctor and the nurse staff were amazing in helping me stay calm. The doctor communicated well knowing I was nervous and the whole experience has resolved the absolute fear I had of getting this procedure done. 10/10 one of the best experiences I’ve had with healthcare. 💕💕💕
